Assessment by Health Psychology Texas

For most, the Initial Visit is typically an assessment of your current mental health and establishes a framework from which a therapy treatment plan may be created for you.
You may be needing a specific type of psychological assessment called a pre-surgical evaluation. These types of evaluations explore psychological factors related to certain types of surgeries and medical procedures, and may be required by your doctor.
If you’ve been asked to complete a psychological evaluation before surgery, the process is designed to be straightforward, efficient, and professional. Theses can be done through telehealth visits, with clear communication and timely comprehensive reports for your surgical team. The overall goals is to support your surgical outcomes.
We do the Following Psychological Evaluations for Surgery

- Heart Transplant
- Lung Transplant
- Liver Transplant (and Living Donation)
